Can you please show us any tips that Ray has up his sleeve to paint wall to ceilings or around trim so fast with perfect lines. Jay made a comment on his video that Jay rolls and Ray uses the brush and Jay cannot catch up to Ray. How does he get perfect lines without taping?

This is why I take retainers as the job goes. I’m always holding the customers money and using it to pay for labor and materials as the job goes. When I type my invoice at the end of the week, I look at the bottom line and I transfer that amount from the unearned funds account to my business account. The only person who could possibly owe anyone money is me and I like it that way.

Should the vapour barrier be put down before the stud walls? I understand the nailing will go through it, but surely just a small hole rather than all the area under the stud panelling would be better? I'm asking as i might have to do it soon.

Pro tip..use hex head tapcons instead of the tapered torxs or philips ones around concrete forming. They get filled up with concrete and make it a pain to remove.

I installed a PVC surround in my bathroom several years ago and put the adhesive on in stripes like you did. Years later it started to crack, and it cracked at the edges of the adhesive. It seems the expansion and contraction was constrained at the edges of the glue, so that's where it cracked. When I put the new surround in I used a slotted trowel to spread the glue out evenly so the whole panel was stuck to the wall. Now it is still in good shape - no cracking. Your panels are thicker and may never have that problem. But I learned something then, and thought to share it.
